This Gulf standard specifies procedures of preparation of standard test steel panels, tinplate panels, aluminium panels (rigid or soft), hardboard panels, glass panels or fiber-reinforced cement panels for the purpose of coating with paint or varnish to carry out several tests on them.
Note: Holes may be made in several types of panels for purpose of attachment, and the dimensions of panels shall be according to the standards relating to the material under test.
