This standard is concerned with dried whole apricots (removed or not pitted), halves (cut longitudinally into two parts before drying) or slices (cut into slices that may be irregular in shape, size and thickness) intended for direct human consumption, and does not include the product that has been processed or intended for manufacturing uses (except when mixed with other products intended for direct consumption) without the need for further preparation, and does not include the "Qamar al-Din" product.
