What is TABEK?

TABEK is an electronic platform that aims to facilitate procedures on local importers and manufacturers of regulated products under Kuwait Conformity Assessment Scheme (KUCAS) in releasing their shipments or registering their products in order to ensure the safety and quality of the goods that enter the local market and to protect the health and safety of the consumer from the damage that may result from Trading products that do not conform to the specifications and technical regulations approved by the Public Authority for Industry.

Goals Of Tabek

1. Reducing time:
   Reducing the documentary cycle and canceling the paperwork that was previously in effect


2. Speed up the procedures:
   Providing new services for importers characterized by speed and accuracy to release imported shipments through the integrated design of the platform with the automated customs system in line with the concept of a single window


3. Promote consumer safety:
   Consumer protection and reduction of non-conforming products
